भारत और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच तीन टी20 मैचों की सीरीज का पहला टी20 मैच शुक्रवार को रांची के जेएसडब्ल्यू स्टेडियम में खेला गया। जहां भारतीय कप्तान हार्दिक पंड्या ने टाॅस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला किया। न्यूजीलैंड की ओर से डेरिल मिचेल और डेवोन काॅनवे ने अर्धशतकीय पारी खेली। उनकी पारियों के दम पर न्यूजीलैंड की टीम ने निर्धारित 20 ओवर में 6 विकेट के नुकसान पर 176 रन बनाए।
सूर्या ने खेली 47 रनों की पारी
जवाब में लक्ष्य का पीछा करने आयी भारतीय टीम की शुरुआत अच्छी नहीं रही। टीम ने महज 15 रन के स्कोर पर अपने टाॅप ऑर्डर को गंवा दिया। इसके बाद भारत की ओर से कप्तान हार्दिक पंड्या और सूर्यकुमार यादव ने पारी को संभाला। दोनों ने चौथे विकेट के लिए 68 रनों की साझेदारी की।
83 रन के स्कोर पर भारतीय टीम ने अपना चौथा विकेट सूर्यकुमार यादव के रूप में गंवा दिया। सूर्यकुमार यादव ने 34 गेंदों पर 47 रनों की पारी खेली। उनकी पारी में 6 चौके और 2 गगनचुंबी छक्के शामिल रहे। सूर्यकुमार की इस पारी को फैंस ने काफी पसंद किया। उनकी इस पारी को लेकर फैंस ने ट्विटर पर जबरदस्त रिएक्शन दिए।
